Pause with Plants is a meditative art form told through botanical photography and well-being/creativity events featuring nature-centered guided imagery for stress relief, focus, team cohesion and better health. Pause with Plants also strives to inspire collective environmental action for people and the planet alike.
Hi there, Iām Brittany Gowan and Pause with Plants grew out of my personal practice of connecting with nature in New York City through photography and mindful presence. Since 2008, this practice has help me better manage stress and keep my mind strong, calm and resilient.
Developing a conscious connection to nature in the city makes a big difference in my daily life, encouraging positivity and resilience, it guides me through high stress and challenging situations.
The term Pause with Plants came to me one day in 2018 as I walked the green streets of the West Village. As a stress relief method, community and coaching company, Pause with Plants has grown in many directions since its early days and now makes an exciting return to its photographic roots.
