I’m Brittany Gowan, a life coach and the founder of Pause with Plants. I have 9 years of coaching experience and for 10+ years I’ve grown and developed my practice of connecting daily with nature in New York City, through mindful moments of intentional pause. Consciously adopting a nature-centered lifestyle in city life has supported my positive mental/physical health, how I stay focused and achieve my goals and I can truly say it’s a game changer and has transformed my life.
This personal win led me to want to share my insights and experience with others and in 2018 I founded Pause with Plants.
Pause with Plants teaches you how to continuously retrieve the present moment, by consciously connecting with nature. This practice grows into a powerful life skill that benefits both your mental and physical health and goal achievement. And with my method, I’ll teach you mindful nature-centered tools to intentionally connect to nature which works as a proactive resource to release stress, grow and achieve goals, and support positive well-being.
Pause with Plants integrates research and understanding from my Master of Science in Applied / I-O Psychology, NYU Certification in Organizational and Executive Coaching, athletic training and coaching, and mindfulness practices.
